Final cabinet locations urgently needed – new maps published
As we enter the final stages of our procurement it is essential that we know exactly which areas will be covered by the commercial rollout of superfast broadband, and which areas will require our help to achieve an improvement. We need this information by April 21st.
Thanks to everyone who has reported cabinet locations to us, we now have data for over 90,000 premises which is fantastic. However, we still have some way to go. We have an urgent requirement to know the location of the remaining cabinets so that our definition of the project Intervention Area, which is to be finalised in April, is as accurate as possible.
Please take a look at the map and if you have a dot on your property then let us know by 21st April at the latest where your local cabinet is. If you could locate your local cabinet(s) and send us information stating that they are “on the corner of XX Street and YY Road” or “outside 23 the Green” then we can fix the location and when our maps are updated we can ensure that they contain accurate information.
The new map can be found at: http://www.cswbroadband.org.uk/the-project/latest-maps/cabinet-coverage-map/

Looking Forward
- We are currently updating our Champions maps
- We are urging all areas to get as many surveys as possible completed ahead of the contract being let in mid-May
- Literature available for additional house to house drops – please help us with this final pre-contract push
